Today I created a WeVideo about the turanga festival. I enjoyed editing this because i use WeVideo everyday at home. My digital learning object shows that i can do the haka and create a quality blog post. Next time I would change the font because its quite hard to read.

I enjoyed trying to recreate the art because i got to choose my own color schemes.
I found it challenging to pick an art template because there are alot to choose from and they all have different art styles.

Next time I would change my art to have more colours because it doesn't look to interesting unlike the original.

Today I was learning about Rocks and Minerals.
I enjoyed researching mostly about the gems because they have lots of meanings and facts.
I found it challenging to find some facts because i didn't want them to be on the same topic.
My digital learning object shows that i can find 10 facts about rocks and minerals and create a quality blog post.
Next time I would change the facts to be focused more on the actual rocks side because the book i read was more about rocks and how people use them.
Today I was learning about all souls day.
I enjoyed learning about all the saints stories because there are so many saints.
I found it challenging to choose the people that i would choose to be on the flower because they all died.
My digital learning object shows that i can celebrate all souls day and create my own digital flower garden for my loved dead loved ones.
Next time I would change the names on the flowers to be saints because its all souls day.
Today I was learning about linking my first sentence to the last.
I enjoyed writing this story because it was about a time i was very afraid.
I found it challenging to come up with a first sentence to link to the bottom because sometimes the sentence doesn't sound right.
My digital learning object shows that i can write a story about a time i was terrified of something like the water.
Next time I would change my writing to have more similies or even add some metaphores because it doesn't sound much exciting.
Endless Deep
When you’re just a young person, the pool feels a thousand times deeper.
I was only 6 and I didn't know how to float yet. I thought I would never learn how to float or swim because I can't even touch the floor. As I climbed into the water I stretched my feet out just to realize I couldn’t touch the surface
My dad wasn’t in the pool because he was buying ice blocks for me and my little brother, who didn’t want to swim. I let go of the edge of the pool but as soon as I lifted my hands up, the water dragged me into the middle of it like a giant whirlpool sucking me in. Slowly but surely, my head sunk into the depths of the endless deep.
As I was paddling my legs and arms for help, my dad swam rapidly towards me. But before he was there to save me, I was swimming! I couldn’t believe what had just happened because when you’re just a young person, the pool feels a thousand times deeper.

Next time I would change the amount of facts i had in it because there weren't that many.
Today I was learning about Chinese language week.
I enjoyed learning different Mandarin words because i could learn to speak that language just in case i wanted to go to china.
I found it challenging to learn so many words and sentences because i can't remember the words since the last chinese language week.
My digital learning object shows that i can create a quality blog post and share my information with others to hopefully incourage you to learn this language from a country that i would like to go to.
Next time I would change the sentences i picked to be longer and harder because i wanted it to be a real challenge to me, and my viewers.
Today, our class went out with Turanga health. They let us do fun activities like, capture the flag (The rugby balls) and touch rugby. We learned many striking skills to help us in our far future. We learned how to run, catch and pass a ball, and even do great teamwork skills
Turanga health made us pass the ball to the person next to us and remember the two people next to you. After some time, we had to run around and split up, still passing the ball to the person that was next to you.
At spare time normaly after church, we would play some of those fun activities to boost our durability. We played capture the flag, another game not with them named "It tag" and sometimes the passing game.
Today I was learning about Catholic Social Teachings. Also known as CST.
I enjoyed creating the slides because i got to be creative with it
I found it challenging to make the presentation because i mostly everything out of shapes and polyline.
My digital learning object shows that i can explain what CST is using digital online learning.
Next time I would change the background lighter because it was kind of hard to see.
Today I was learning about the sacraments of initiation.
I enjoyed editing the video because i got to add effects and be creative with the clips.
I found it challenging to choose which clips to use because i only wanted to pick 3 clips.

Next time I would change the volume of the music because it sounds a little bit distracting.
Today I was learning about Rats. I enjoyed making the slides because i got to add facts to make it interesting. I found it challenging to make this because i made everything out of shapes. Bush Rats
Bush rats are part of the Murids species with guinea pigs, Bunnies and even Prairie dogs. Their scientific name is “Rattus fuscipes.” Bush rats abundantly hate peppermint oil and are omnivores which means they eat meat and vegetables just like us humans. These types of rats have round ears that can grow up to 18-25 mm big. That's the size of the black cricket.
Bush rats have tails shorter than their body and are furry unlike normal rats. They have lighter fur on their belly than the rest of their body.
Bush rats live in rainforests and woodlands. They live under logs and can live up to 5 years like flying squirrels and Anole lizards. Rats that live in the forests live under logs or rocks to hide from predators such as foxes, dingoes and snakes.
Bush rats are as heavy as Javan pigs at a weight of 76 grams. When they
become adults they will barely leave their home. Rats are dying everyday and one is probably dying right now. Rats don’t deserve the hate they are getting and should be given a home. Rats shouldn’t be tested in labs and deserve to be treated better.

Classification - What it is
Wetas are part of the grasshopper and cricket species. They’ve been around for over one hundred ninety million years. They’ve been around since the dinosaurs! There are 70 species of Weta and some weta species are huge.
Description - What it has and looks like
A regular sized weta is the size of three small mice and have antennas two times bigger than their body. When a weta loses their antennas then they can just grow them back. Wetas have ears on their front legs so they move around to hear stuff around them.
Location / Habitat
Wetas can be found in caves and forests. Some people breed wetas and sail them to islands to increase the population of Weta. Some wetas live in grasslands and shrubs.
Dynamics - What it can do
Wetas shed their skin ten times a year They lay 6 eggs at a time and can lay up to 300 of them. Here's a question for you Weta learners. Would you want a Weta as a pet?
Why are bees important to our Planet?
Why are bees so important to Earth? And why are they dying? Essentially, bees are Earth's number one pollinators. They work hard every single day to make their sweet delectable honey just to be taken from them to be eaten by us.
Furthermore, Bees are important to us because they pollinate all the time. Worker honey bees make 1/12 teaspoon of honey and normal bees make 6144 teaspoons of it.
In the year twenty nineteen, there were two trillion bees and over a year later, they have dropped down to the population of two billion!
People conclude that they are dying because of global warming, habitat destroyal, parasites, and many more disasters that could have caused this big population drop. Bees could be going extinct in 13 years. That's in the year 2033. If you're ten, you’d be 23!
You might think that you can’t save bees because you’re allergic to them and can’t touch them. In fact, there are many ways to save bees from extinction without touching them. You can make a bee garden, or do something that doesn’t need much work like, growing a tree or some flowers.
It’s really that simple! Bees are going extinct from even diseases that come from fungi, bacteria and one disease that makes bees' wings be damaged. So watch out for what location you're keeping your bees.
Lastly, Without bees, apples, pears, melons, nashi fruit and much more would vanish from super markets and people wouldn’t have much to eat. So you must help the bee population rise. Many people are allergic to bees and can get into serious conditions. But bees are just trying to protect them and their family from us.
To wrap it all up, bees are one of the best insects on the planet that helps humans make crops grow. We should all strive to do our best to keep bees alive and give them the best home we can. You must help the bee population emerge from extinction and not to be an extinct species forever on earth.
